As most of you are aware, the YMCA is on the front line every day providing much-needed services for some of society’s most vulnerable groups. We support young people through our hostel accommodation and give access to local people through our childcare, children’s activities and health and well-being services.

As one of the oldest charities in the UK, the YMCA operates through income-generating activities such as gym memberships, partnership funding and private donations. As a result, your membership fees do not go towards providing private shareholder profit but are reinvested back into the organisation to provide the vital services mentioned above.

With this in mind, instead of your membership being frozen, we are offering you the opportunity to continue paying your membership fee by direct debit during this lockdown period. In return we have partnered with Les Mills on-demand to provide 800+ virtual classes for a 60-day period. In addition to Body Pump and Body Combat, mindfulness classes and dance classes for young people are being offered up to ensure you and your family can keep in shape mentally and physically. Les Mills delivers the highest quality classes, delivered consistently, by the very best instructors in the world.

Contact Petra to unfreeze and access Les Mills on-demand.

We obviously understand that money is tight during this time and if you are unable to take up the above offer your membership will remain frozen. When the centre re-opens your membership will be reactivated and you can get back to doing what you love.
