YMCA residents recently attended a three-week mindfulness course here at YMCA North, led by Jessica, the trainee yoga teacher who has been so generous in leading yoga sessions here at the hostel. The course included practices to help people to manage stress, anxiety and panic attacks, such as breathing exercises, visualisations and affirmations. Jessica shared a guide to mindfulness which we are pleased to share here.
