Job Title: After School Club Leader

Location: Crouch End N8 8SG

Job Purpose:

  • The Out of Hours Club Leader will be responsible for overseeing the after school and breakfast clubs, providing a range of stimulating activities in a caring, secure environment for children of a wide age range.
  • The Out of Hours Club Leader will be responsible for the day to day management of playwork staff, including conducting appraisals and will manage timetables and rotas for the teams.
  • The postholder will be expected to make decisions within routine parameters of the job role, referring to the Out of Schools Childcare Manager where appropriate and ensuring that the designated setting delivers outstanding childcare in a safe, secure, fun and stimulating environment

  • This post will assist Housing Workers in taking rent payments, answering the telephones in a polite and professional manner, providing basic information, advice and guidance, helping young people to call external agencies, thus embedding a psychologically informed environment.

Job Purpose:

  • The aim of this post is to provide a direct housing service to vulnerable young people aged 16 – 25.
  • This post will assist young people to move on to independent living by providing a quality information, advice and guidance service, providing benefit support to prevent rent arrears or build or arreas, budgeting and life skills support, thus embedding a psychological informed environment.
  • Requires close working with a range of agencies such as Floating Support, Housing Services, Housing Benefit and Child Services.
